Ramadan Geometric Art

Where are all our budding woodworkers? Get out the glue gun and cutters, and get started on some Eid decorations.

You’ll only need a handful of things to make these geometric moon and star shapes. They are very sturdy and would be a great keepsake for Ramadan and Eid’s to come inshaAllah.

What you’ll need:

  • Popsicle sticks

  • Hot glue gun

  • Pencil

  • Paint (optional)

We have included them in various sizes to give you more to choose from. We have an A3 moon, an A3 moon over 2 A4 pages as well as A4 sized moon and stars.

So how do we put it together?

  • Size up your popsicle sticks using our template. Mark where needs to be cut and use a hot glue gun to join the bits together. You could use PVA or wood glue, they just take longer to dry and a littler more tedious.

  • Once your shape is complete either leave in its original colour or paint it.

Share your Gemoetric popsicle shapes on an Instagram post using the #ramadanwithallamah hashtag to have an opportunity to win a full set of our thematic units valued at $192.90 - that is ALL 12 units! One winner will be chosen each week randomly from those who have posted using the above hashtag on their Instagram feed.

Entries are open from 9-15 April 9pmAEST.
